This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled so you know exactly what to expect when shopping with us.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
Items may be returned if they are new, unused, and in their original packaging, with all accessories and components included.
To ensure the item can be safely resold and properly inspected, products must be returned in the same condition in which they were received. Items that show signs of installation, use, damage, or missing parts may not be eligible for a refund.
Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
Returns requested after this window may not be eligible for approval. We recommend inspecting your order soon after it arrives to ensure everything meets your expectations.
Return Shipping Responsibility
For returns based on personal preference or change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
We provide prepaid return labels for convenience. If you choose to use the provided label, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
There are no restocking fees for eligible returns.
How to Start a Return or Exchange (RMA Process)
To begin a return or exchange, please contact our support team at support@glimmerix.com.
Include your order number and a brief description of the request. Our team will review the request and provide return instructions along with a prepaid shipping label if applicable.
Please do not ship items back without receiving return authorization first, as this helps us track and process your return correctly.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, we will take care of it promptly.
Please report damage within the following timeframes:
- Freight (LTL) deliveries: within 48 hours of delivery
- Small parcel deliveries (UPS/FedEx): within 15 days of delivery
When contacting support, please include photos of the damage and the packaging so we can resolve the issue quickly. For verified damage or defects, Glimmerix Gas Lanterns covers all shipping costs for replacements or returns.
Cancellations
Orders may be canceled for a full refund as long as the order has not yet shipped.
Once an order has been processed and shipped, it falls under the standard return process outlined in this policy.
Refund Processing Time
After we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds are processed within 7 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during checkout. Your financial institution may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
Original shipping costs from the order are fully refunded when a return is approved.
Our Error vs. Customer-Initiated Returns
If a return is required due to our error — such as receiving the wrong item, a defective product, or damage during shipping — we cover all associated shipping costs and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
If the return is initiated due to personal preference, incorrect selection, or change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Exchanges Process
If you would like to exchange your item, please contact support@glimmerix.com to begin the process.
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the original item as well as the shipping cost for the replacement item. Once the returned item is received and verified, we will arrange shipment of the replacement.
